Southern California's population is diverse and changing. Now more than ever, businesses need efficient ways of finding customers, employees, partners, and investors. This chapter provides information about people and society in our region including population density and growth rates, age, ethnicity, health, education, languages spoken and lifestyles.

In the broadest terms, the Inland Empire's population is growing, aging, increasingly Hispanic, and less educated than some other areas of California.
